As a freelance classical recording producer and engineer, Jamey Lamar works with artists and ensembles around the country to produce recordings for international labels like Naxos and broadcasts such as American Public Media’s Performance Today.
He is also a frequent radio host, podcaster, pre-concert lecturer and program annotator.
Jamey studied piano at the North Carolina School of the Arts and audio recording at the Cleveland Institute of Music. He received a master of Music in Musicology from the University of Memphis.
He lives in Boise, Idaho, with violist Linda Kline Lamar and their dog Largo. Jamey likes to cook, tries to keep up with the New Yorker, and owns a Theremin.
